Description

AURIST GHI is a natural, highly purified rheology modifier derived from the endosperm of the guar bean. It works by creating high-viscosity solutions even at low concentrations, making it an effective thickening agent. Its unique galactomannan structure allows it to act as a hygroscopic buffer (holding onto moisture) and work synergistically with other hydrocolloids like xanthan gum to achieve higher viscosity than using either alone. It is non-charged (neutral), allowing it to remain stable and functional across a wide pH range (3–12) and in the presence of cationic ingredients, which is ideal for complex leave-on and rinse-off formulations.
